A search for a way of realising an idea in paint and allowing the paint to have a will of its own and having the sense to realise that in the nick of time...hopefully. How we decay. Our artefacts, cars, possessions, ideas, ourselves. We come from the earth, and the earth comes from the stars and so do we.

link with flickr photostream
I have just found out how to link my flicker photos with this blog. No mean achievement. A way of delaying the inevitable: sorting out frozen pipes in our outbuilding.
Hi Jeremy Thanks for the info sent via Emily. What you are doing looks great. Haven't much to share I'm afraid as have only partially done one painting with Emily (was hoping to finish it, but she insisted I did something else) and not much at home. Been away, hence lack of reply!
I'm planning to go off on a tangent and develop some ideas re. boats/Devon etc (we have a place in Newton Ferrers). Won't be completely losing the Turner, but definitely not pursuing it in detail. Am also hoping the boating/sailing thing will feed into my sculpture as am currently exploring a lot more abstract work with Hoathly Hill and can see some possible links. It also gets me a lot more interested in it as sculpture seems to have taken over these days.
Good luck with it all, though it looks like you are well on the way anyway. Cheers Lynn W
